Terms of Service

Last updated 13 September 2026

In short

Use Somix to market your own business, honestly, and within the rules of the social platforms you connect. Somix drafts content for you — you stay responsible for what gets published under your name.

Credits are prepaid and consumed as you generate. You can stop using Somix at any time, and so can we if these terms are broken.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and Somix (“Somix”, “we”, “us”) for use of the service at somix.ai. By creating an account or using Somix, you accept them. If you are using Somix on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Somix.

What Somix does

Somix plans campaigns, writes captions and documents, generates images, schedules posts, and publishes them to the social accounts you connect. It is a tool that acts on your instructions — it does not provide marketing, legal or financial advice.

We improve the service continuously, which means features may change, and occasionally be removed. If we remove something you depend on, we will give you reasonable notice.

Your account

  • Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself — you are responsible for everything done through your account.

If you notice unauthorised use of your account, tell us at once at hi@somix.ai.

Team members you invite can act within your workspace. Inviting someone means you are responsible for what they do there.

Credits, plans and billing

  • Somix runs on credits. Generating content spends them; the price of each action is shown before you confirm it.
  • A new account gets trial credits at no cost and with no card required.
  • Paid plans renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
  • Prices can change. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not refundable once spent.

If a generation fails through our fault, the credits for it are not charged. If you think you were charged in error, write to hi@somix.ai and we will look into it.

Connected social accounts

When you connect an account, you authorise Somix to publish to it and to read its metrics on your behalf, within the permissions you granted. You can disconnect an account at any time from the Integrations page.

Each platform has its own terms — Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and X all do — and those govern your account there. You are responsible for making sure what you publish through Somix complies with them. A platform can suspend or rate-limit an account for reasons outside our control, and we cannot guarantee that any particular post will be delivered.

Acceptable use

Do not use Somix to:

  • Publish content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
  • Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent who is behind the content.
  • Send spam, run engagement farms, or operate networks of accounts designed to mislead a platform.
  • Infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
  • Break the terms of any platform you connect, or any applicable law.
  • Probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it as your own.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and remove content that does.

Your content and ours

You own the material you put into Somix and the content Somix generates for you. You grant us the permission we need to operate the service on your behalf: to store your material, process it, send it to our AI providers to generate drafts, and publish it to the accounts you connected. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.

Somix itself — the software, the interface, the brand — remains ours. These terms do not give you any right to it beyond using the service.

AI-generated content

Somix uses AI models to write and illustrate. AI output can be wrong, outdated, generic, or similar to what someone else has produced. Review what Somix drafts before it goes out.

Once a post is published to your account, it is your publication: you are responsible for its accuracy, its claims, and its compliance with advertising and disclosure rules in your market. We do not warrant that generated content is original, accurate or fit for any particular purpose.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Somix and close your account at any time — write to hi@somix.ai and we will delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your payments fail, or if we are required to by law. If we discontinue Somix entirely, we will give you notice and a window to export your content.

Disclaimers and liability

Somix is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular marketing result. Reach, engagement and sales depend on many things we do not control.

To the extent the law allows, Somix is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost business, lost data or reputational harm — and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the service or the law changes, and revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use Somix after that means you accept the new terms.
